"Years ago. Before having children. I owned a Boa Constrictor along with several other snakes and lizards. The Boa was becoming too large for me to take care of. I wanted to do a painting of the snake before I sold her off. A close friend of mine, at the time, volunteered. I could not have predicted her comfort and ease with the snake."
